Amba Darst-Campbell '27I am a biochemistry major with an interest in protein chemistry and molecular biology. My work in the Fera lab focuses on strengthening the MEK and ERK interactions for crystallographic analysis. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and learning new recipes.

Ainsley Madden '28I am a biochemistry/philosophy double major from San Francisco, California. My work in the Fera lab focuses on altering the ERK protein structure to strengthen its binding with MEK in vitro. In my free time, I like to cook, crochet, and play guitar.

Safaa Mohamed Aly '28I am a Biochemistry and Economics double major on the pre-med track from Twin Falls, Idaho. My research focuses on MEK and ERK protein kinases, which play a crucial role in intracellular signaling pathways, particularly the MAPK pathway. My research aims to determine whether specific mutation sites on MEK affect its binding to ERK or alter MEK’s structural integrity and function. Outside of the lab, I enjoy reading novels, cooking, and going for walks.

Presley Simelus '28I'm a biochemistry major and a biology honors minor from Boston, MA. In the Fera lab, I am characterizing interactions between a mouse antibody and an HIV spike protein using computational and experimental techniques. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing viola, going on runs, and exploring Philadelphia.
