I am an exchange student from the University of Tokyo. I am in medical school back in Japan(Bachelor of Medicine), and doing a biochemistry major here at Swat. My main interest in research is structural analysis of Lyn proteins. By utilizing several spectroscopic technologies and biochemical experiments, I hope to connect its function and structure. I love playing basketball, shogi and drinking coffee!

I am a biochemistry major with a music and Asian studies double minor from Bergenfield, New Jersey. My research focuses on the activity of MEK and ERK kinase variants across different species and their effects on immune-related function. Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee as a member of the Swarthmore Earthworms, making new Spotify playlists, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and cooking for friends!
